Annually, e4geeniuschess organises FIDE rated tournament in Lagos, which attracts highly rated players from West Africa. This tournament features above and below 2000 FIDE section for both men and ladies. Children section for Under the age of 14 and 10 are usually organized alongside with fantastic prizes for winners in each catergories. International albiter I. A. Amisu Omotayo was the head arbiter for this tournament. Chessplayers all over Nigeria have come to love this tournament with an average of 500 participants annually.
